Are you eager to take on a thrilling challenge in an innovative and expanding company? If you thrive in a dynamic R&D environment, focused on product development and new introductions, then this opportunity is tailor-made for you!

Join our esteemed client, a global industrial systems' manufacturer with a prestigious history of delivering bespoke solutions. As a R&D Manager (Electrical bias), you'll play a vital role in a multi-disciplined R&D team of over 100 skilled engineers, working within a much larger organisation, which guarantees stability and security while offering the agility and excitement usually associated with smaller firms.

As a key member of the team, you'll be managing 6 electrical & controls engineers directly to deliver on 10-15 projects at any one time (5 of which would likely need detailed work). In the first 12-months you’ll be tasked with helping deliver on the roadmap of bringing the team together with more of a collaborative project focus and beyond this will move onto hiring a further 2-4 engineers for your team in the middle of next year.

Your previous expertise as an engineer (electrical bias) and current management experience will enable you to give accurate input on the time frames of the 5-year roadmap and projects being delivered. The industrial systems filter into diverse global sectors, including energy, data centres, chemical industries, oil and gas, marine applications, HVAC, environmental applications, and even the thriving food and beverage industries. Meaning there is a good variation of work and projects to be delivered.

If you have a good understanding of electrical control systems (and regs), want to work in a stimulating environment, have the appetite to bring a team together to deliver, and want to be valued for your contribution then this is the position for you.

In addition to the stimulating work environment you’ll receive a starting salary of £65,000 - £70,000, 10% bonus, hybrid home working (2-days PW), 27 days of holiday plus bank holidays, in-come protection, private medical coverage, a pension plan, and numerous other perks.

Don't miss out on this remarkable opportunity to advance your career in a flourishing and dynamic company. Take the next step and apply today to unlock your true potential!
