Role: Electrical Design Engineer
Rate: up to £42 per hour, outside of IR35
Location: Bolton
Supporting a partner that specialises in machinery automation, we are looking for a contract electrical design engineer.
The role would need you to work onsite 4 days per week on the outskirts of Bolton, the rest of the engineering team do this already.
We can pay a rate of up to £42phr outside IR35 and the project is for 12 months.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experienced in machinery / packing automation
Experienced in designing control panels for machinery & pick cables etc.
Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., Zuken E3 and/or Bentley Promise V5 ).
Experience working with 3D CAD systems is advantageous but not critical.
Experience with simulation and analysis tools for electrical systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Electrical qualifications to degree level or a minimum of 8 years industry experience with an apprenticeship qualification.
